Thistle Fox Books is a family-run creative studio with authors in different parts of the U.S.Chelsea Torres, creator of our dachshund coloring books and playful activity collections, is based in California. Anwyn Brooks, who writes our atmospheric YA fantasy and folklore-inspired fiction, is based in the Pacific Northwest, while Poppy Loxley, creator of our gentle picture books, Cozy Critter stories, and Lucie’s Paris adventures, lives in the Midwest.No matter where our stories are created, Thistle Fox Books titles are available online, with links to purchase from each book page on our website.

Poppy Loxley is the author behind many of Thistle Fox Books’ gentle picture books, including Lucie’s Paris adventures and the Cozy Critter stories.A retired teacher and children’s author, Poppy creates warm, imaginative stories filled with whimsical animals, friendship, kindness, seasonal wonder, and cozy moments meant to be shared together. Her books blend lyrical storytelling with richly illustrated storybook worlds for young readers and families.

Chelsea Torres creates Thistle Fox Books’ dachshund coloring collections, inspired in part by her own dachshund, Milo. Her books range from playful coloring adventures for children to seasonal collections and more detailed designs for adults.With a love of animals and creativity, Chelsea fills her books with lovable dachshunds, cheerful scenes, imaginative details, and plenty of screen-free coloring fun.

Anwyn Brooks creates the more atmospheric side of Thistle Fox Books. A Pacific Northwest author and painter, she writes lyrical fantasy and folklore-inspired fiction for older teens and young adults, including her Tales of Magic & Shadow collection.She is also expanding into immersive fantasy coloring books for teens, young adults, and adults, with intricate artwork inspired by coastal legends, ancient forests, dreamlike landscapes, mystery, and quiet magic. Her growing coloring collection includes Between Tide and Moon: A Dreamlike Folklore Coloring Book, bringing her story worlds into a new creative format.
