🚲 Lucie and the Little Christmas Bell: A Gentle Christmas Ride Through Paris is a beautifully illustrated little picture book made for cozy December story times. Perfectly sized for little hands, it invites young readers to join Lucie on a snowy Christmas adventure filled with glowing shop windows, festive stalls, fir trees, ribbons, warm cocoa, and softly falling snow.
One chilly December afternoon, Lucie wraps herself in her striped scarf, tips her red beret into place, and sets out on her bicycle as Paris begins to sparkle for Christmas.
Then she hears the tiniest sound.
Ting-a-ling.
Beneath a little wooden chalet sits a very small puppy named Hugo, with a brass bell hanging from his red collar.
“I can’t find my family,” he whispers.
Lucie knows just what to do.
“Then we will find them together,” she says.
With Hugo tucked safely into her bicycle basket, Lucie pedals through glowing Paris streets as they search for the place he remembers.
Pedal, pedal, soft and slow—
beneath the Christmas lights we go.
Along the way, a familiar little sound may hold the clue they need.
